Marysol González Sterling le cabe el dudoso honor de haber sido durante los años

especial de Ywhoo y Tigre Pérez entre los que, sin embargo, hay notorias diferencias-.
González se presentaba, en 1988, como escultora, escenógrafa y también como Artista
Transpersonal. Psicoastróloga. Investigadora del I Ching. Fundadora de Planet Art en Europa,
a lo que, en 1994, añade Autora de varios libros, terapeuta psicofísica y Sacro-Craneal para,
un año después, pasar a ser, simplemente, Fotónica. Cromodinámica del I Ching.

Acompañada de su inseparable Geraldyne Waxkowsky (actriz, coreógrafa, etc.), según
ellas mismas, han tenido contacto con chamánes y ancianos de tribús de Norte América desde
1979; colaboran con José Arguelles en el Encantamiento del Sueño y el Calendario de 13
LUNAS. Joan Halifax les introduce a la psicoterapia Chamánica en 1985 y en 1993 aprenden
la técnica desarrollada por Stephen Gallegos.
Al parecer, hasta que se convierten en acólitas de Argüelles, González (de los González
Byass, conocidos licoreros), se dedicaba a impartir cursos -desde Tai-Chi hasta
Astrodrama- en sus posesiones de La Colmena (enorme finca cerca de Zarcilla de Ramos,
en la serranía de Lorca, Murcia). Las enseñanzas de Argüelles la llevan a incluir, en 1988,
cursos en los que comprenderemos la ciencia y la simbólogia de la Cultura de los Mayas que
nos inspirará a crear los ambientes escultóricos. Después de los pseudogalácticos episodios
narrados supra e infra -introducción de Ywahoo precedida por la Paz Mundial-, en diciembre
de 1992, presenta en el Salón de Embajadores de la Casa de América su Juego-Calendario
Maya bajo el título El Encantamiento del Sueño. El Viaje de la Nave del Tiempo Tierra 2013;
en marzo de 1994, desarrolla en sus posesiones madrileñas de la calle Fuentes unas
conferencias sobre Psicoterapia CHAMANICA con animales de poder, nueva faceta en la
que enseña que los animales de poder de cada uno son los aliados sanadores para dar mas
autonomía curativa individual.

Nuevo Mundo a un Mundo Nuevo pues, según sus organizadoras, ésta formaba parte de las
conversaciones de paz soviético-americanas (sic). Si alguna institución les hubiera concedido
los 25 millones de ptas./año en los que presupuestaban su oficina en Madrid, hubieran

MORE \"MORONIC\" CONVERGENCE?

Put your lips together and go OMMMM! If you do it for more than a few seconds, soon your lips should start to tickle. One man who tried this said it doesn't work for men -- apparently only women -- but if you are a man, try it anyway.

And tickle is what these serious New Agers did to the mainline media who thought a lot of people were wasting their spiritual and physical energy worrying about something called the Harmonic Convergence which was supposedly marking a point when Earth would move into the next phase of its evolution toward intergalactic civilization -- a type of planetary Pentecost which was to bring all of humanity together in one accord speeding up the evolutionary journey into godhood. But what we were witnessing was a revival on a very large and growing scale of ancient paganism and a rejection of scientism.

I could have chuckled too if I didn't think these folks were very serious about their mission. Most of you have long forgotten the supposedly 144,000 (a significant Biblical number) \"Rainbow Humans\" who gathered on August 16, 1987 to greet the dawn around the world to bring in this prophesied universal love and peace and birthing the cosmic family of \"homo-sapiens (universal humanity) and thereby fulfilling the Age of Aquarius or Planetary transformation.

Some observed they believed the \"spiritual government\" of hierarchies would \"free the planet\" at this point and take charge and it was reminiscent of all tax-supported governmental programs that are suppose to stop the flow of drugs, teach our kids to read and do math, protect little children from evil parents, stop the flow of pornography, alcoholism, perversions of all types, things seem to continue to grow worse and worse. Yes, this was the \"golden age\" they sang about in the 1960's -- the \"Age of Aquarius.\" They were planning to evolve into little gods to save \"Mother Earth!\"

In Portland, Oregon Waterfront Park, for instance, they were sitting with blankets over their heads and wrapped around their bodies to keep warm in the Hindu/New Age lotus position chanting OMMMMMM.

And because some media pundits discounted this \"convergence\" as silly it caused others to laugh at it as well but these folks were most serious and since that \"convergence\" more UFO sightings and abductions by short, funny little people with big eyes are being reported. Now, is earth being invaded by intergalactic civilization or simply demons as indicated in Ephesians 6:12 in the bible? Evidently, in the last days millions of additional dark angels are to be released onto planet earth to plague humanity. [1]

Harmonic Convergence was to be a day of healing. Sponsoring New Age groups had hoped to recruit 144,000 occult healers, shamans and witch doctors who were to come together to bring peace and healing to the nations. Jose' Arguelles of Boulder, Colorado, a former Professor at the University of California Davis campus seemed to be the organizer of the event. He and his wife had an organization called the Planet Art Network (PAN) and this is where the initials PAN originated.[2] Harmonic Convergence, a new global program, was the brainchild of Arguelles. As reported by one Colorado publication, this event was based on ancient Mexican Mayan Prophesies and said Arguelles is a closet worshipper of Lucifer, whom he would prefer to call \"PAN\".

In conjunction with the United Nations University for Peace, the Robert Muller School later co-sponsored an April 1988 conference featuring, among its \"Leading Lights,\" Muller himself, Ted Turner, the \"transformed\" president of Cable New network; Barbara Meister-Vitals author of Unicorns Are Real; Willis Harman, president of the Institute for Noetic Sciences at Stanford University, a New Age think tank, and none other than Harmonic Converger Jose' Arguelles. [3]. Because birds of a feather tend to flock together, we can once again see the hand of the communist-controlled United Nations. October 24th was United Nations Day.

Mikhail Gorbachev encouraged the Harmonic Convergence in August 1987. And where has Gorby been lately? Well, it seems Gorby, the former Soviet dictator, enjoys global celebrity status unmatched by any other ex-political leader and he rubs elbows with corporate CEOs worldwide at his annual \"State of the World Forums\". Gorbachev wants a U.N. Earth Charter and global governance with a synthesis of New Age Eastern Religion and proven collective ideas and values. He said a new set of inclusive universal values distilled from all faiths must replace the Judeo-Christian world view - that the old beliefs and political systems must be abandoned. [4] But is he a prophet of world peace or a dangerous Pied Piper? [5]

That half-hearted, fake coup in 1991 he pulled off made the creation of a New World Order more likely. Rarely has the world been treated to a coup d'etat where the targeted leaders weren't speedily assassinated. Not only was Gorbachev not harmed physically, he was even allowed equipment to produce a video taped denunciation of his captors that he later released upon his return to Moscow. [6]

As early as 1931 the communists predicted a peace movement which would entrap the West. Addressing the Komintern in Moscow, party theoretician Dimitry Manuilski states: \"One day we shall start to spread the most theatrical peace movement the world has ever seen. The capitalist countries, stupid and decadent...will fall into the trap offered by the possibility of making new friends...Our day will come in 30-40 years or so...The bourgeoisie must be lulled into a feeling of security.\" [7]

Stonehenge, and other occultic, sacred sites to New Agers, also played significant parts in this \"convergence.\" Since then we've had other events such as Hands Across America, the New Age World Peace Day Celebration in Florida and it was reported in a T.V. story in July 1992 that Sedona, Arizona has become a \"New Age\" town. However, some call it \"Flake Haven\" and it was reported that 15 million \"flakes\" follow some type of New Age thinking.

And because the August 1987 Harmonic Convergence failed to bring about peace, now another event is being planned. I have received word from a source I assume is reliable that Harmonic Concordance - PROJECT OM! is scheduled for November 5 - 11th, 2003. On November 8, 2003 at 8:13 p.m. (NY time) the New Agers are being asked to sound together and anchor in new interdimensional energies which is to be a powerful and climactic moment in the Earth's history. Sound, Light and Love will assist in anchoring new energies for personal and planetary healing and transformation.

The report I received said at that precise time on that day a geometrically perfect six-sided (Star of David) configuration will appear in the sky, linking and balancing the energies of six astrological bodies: The Sun, Jupiter, Mars. Saturn, Chiron and the Moon. In addition, there will be an eclipse of the full moon at this time. The interaction of this significant planetary alignment at the moment of the eclipse combines to produce a powerful alchemical transformation offering the opportunity for both personal and planetary shifts in consciousness. The name that has been given to this particular energetic window of time is the Harmonic Concordance. Could this event in the sky be a hologram? Could it be some type of deception? But what does the Bible say about it in Matt. 16:3, Matt. 24:24, Luke 21:5-33 and in other scriptures.

The report says this Grant Sextile astrological configuration, accompanying a total lunar eclipse, has never before occurred in recorded history. This is an immensely powerful vibrational activation that many throughout the planet see as a major interdimensional gateway fulfilling ancient prophecies from different traditions and ushering in a new activation of energy upon the Earth...

As part of the Schedule for Project OM participants are told to begin preliminary breathing and sounding exercises to clear and attune themselves at precisely 8:05 and at 8:11 they are to begin sounding a rolling \"Om\", projecting this sound to assist in planetary activation for this new energy. At 8:22 they finish making this Om sound and now they meditate on the energy.

The information said there are literally thousands of websites with differing information about this important time. There are also events occurring throughout the world to help usher in this new energy... and again, they are calling for that magical Biblical number of 144,000 to sound off together in order to bring in a new era of consciousness.

Matthew 24 talks about the course of this age and what we can expect. We know from reading the books of Daniel and Revelation that one-world government or empires are viewed by the almighty as beasts in visions and dreams (Daniel 8:27) In Daniel 12:4, he was told to keep this prophecy a secret. \"Seal it up so that it will not be understood until the end times when travel and education shall be vastly increased.\" Is the whole world, both the saved and the unsaved alike - witnessing the birth pangs of the End Times? Are the global churches founded on unity and diversity part of this deception? Is \"loving one another\" taking precedence over sound doctrine? Will once born-again Christians backslide and become heretics in the End Times as some believe? Only time will tell.

The End of Time, like Gilbert's other books, assumes that Edgar Cayces' prophecies are correct, and that the destruction of Atlantis was at the end of a previous world era - a destruction that is due to be repeated at the end of the current era, targeted by the Maya at 2012. However, the doom and gloom has been tempered by input from Carlos Barrios, J.J.Hurtak and Jose Arguelles. since the SOHO satellite was launched, after the publication of The Mayan Prophecies, and it has become apparent that solar activity is ramping up considerably, Gilbert takes this as a sign that he was on to something with his Sunspot/Maya calendar theory, but fortunately, spares us all the dodgy graphs, charts and number crunching, which he included in that book.

Apart from the travelogue, the repetitions from The Mayan Prophecies, and long quotes from the Plato dialogues, what else is in this book? There is a detailed account of the discoveries of early explorers, the map of Teotihuacan as another terrestrial version of Orion's belt (like the pyramids of Giza, Egypt), as previously revealed by Morton and Thomas in their Mystery of the Crystal Skulls, plus the recognition that the ancient Britons also constructed Thornborough Henge as a terrestrial Orion's belt (see Beyond 2012 p.209-210 and p.262). The main item of interest is the discovery, from reading Linda Schele, that the Maya had a creation myth in which the three stones of creation (represented in the house by three hearth stones) were laid at the start of the current age in 3114 BC, and that these were represented in the sky by one of the belt stars of Orion, and the two below, forming a triangle. There is another creation myth (apart from the one in which One Hunahpu is reborn in the mouth of the jaguar-toad, representing the dark rift of the Milky Way), in which One Hunahpu, the solar deity (who also has a form as the maize god), is reborn from the back of a turtle. This turtle has three stars on its back and is located in Orion (some sources say Gemini). This is close to the other star gate, as Gilbert calls the intersection of the ecliptic with the Milky Way, which he centres on the hand of Orion (Jenkins discusses this on p.116-119 and p.284-285 of MC2012). What Gilbert finds amazing is that, as he pointed out in The Orion Mystery, Osiris is associated with Orion, and is a god of corn. From this, he deduces that there was extra-terrestrial contact between the Egyptians, and gods from Orion, and that the same thing applies to the Maya. From his contact with J. J. Hurtak, he concludes they traveled in soul form in a Merkabah, since the stars of Orion are between 65 and 545 light years away. The same is concluded for the builders of Thornborough Henge.

Gilbert concludes that the Maya calendar was given to the Maya by intelligent spirits who visited the earth from outer space, and that they probably plan to return in 2012.

There are one or two interesting anecdotes in The End of Time - one of which concerns the Davenport Stele - a calendar stone found in a burial mound in 1874, which is inscribed in three scripts - Egyptian hieroglyphs, Iberian-Punic and Libyan, and is evidence of early transatlantic contact. However, these are widely thought to be fakes - see this page for a picture and more info. Another interesting sequence was a transcription of Gilbert's second visit to Don Jose Diaz Bolio, who gave Gilbert some Crotallus durissus skins, and there is a photo comparing the skin to a pattern on a Maya pyramid showing the undoubted origin. Bolio pointed out that the rattlesnake changes its teeth every 20 days, which gave the Maya the Uinal period. However, Uinal also means man, so the 20 fingers and toes theory still holds water.

Errors

There are several errors in the book that should be mentioned. Firstly, Gilbert mixes his start-dates. On p. 11, p.12 and p.147, p.252, and p.257, he says August 13th 3114 BC. On p.258, 260,he says August 12th. The end-date he puts at 21st December 2012 on p.309 and December 22nd on p.14, p.257-260, but on p.21, he says 21-22 December. The mixed end-dates are perhaps explained by the fact that he puts the alignment of \"the sun with the very centre of our galaxy\" at midnight, whereas the solstice point will actually occur at 11:11 GMT (no, I am not making this up! see this US Naval Observatory site for confirmation). Also, the astronomical centre of the galaxy will not be conjunct the sun for another 200 years or more (see truezone). It is the galactic equator that conjuncts the winter solstice sun between 1980 and 2016.

On p.45 Gilbert says that some Maya month symbols are similar to Chinese zodiac signs. No, it is the day-sign symbols that include the symbols for rabbit, snake. monkey, dog dragon/lizard and jaguar/tiger, which correspond to the Chinese signs. On p.156 he says that the ceremony of the four fliers, who twirl round the World tree 13 times each, adding to 52, represents the year of 4 x 13 = 52 weeks. He forgets that this is our calendar, and that the flight represents the 52-year Calendar Round. it represents the descent of the Hero Twins to the underworld, as told in the Popol vuh. Gilbert claims that Seven Macaw is not the Big Dipper. This is contrary to the position of Linda Schele - a position that is central to John Major Jenkins' thesis on 2012. I'll leave it to John Major Jenkins to argue that one -NEW! here is JMJ's comment on this NEW!. Finally, on p.246, Gilbert confuses the Itzas with the Toltecs.

In conclusion, there are a few interesting bits in the book, and its not a bad read, but it doesn't contribute much that is new to the 2012 question....

By the way, the \"tips for survival\" advertised in the blurb amount to this: put some tinned food, pasta and grain in your loft and avoid living in low-lying areas.

The date December 21st, 2012 A.D. (13.0.0.0.0 in the Long Count), represents an extremely close conjunction of the Winter Solstice Sun with the crossing point of the Galactic Equator (Equator of the Milky Way) and the Ecliptic (path of the Sun), what that ancient Maya recognized as the Sacred Tree. This is an event that has been coming to

resonance very slowly over thousands and thousands of years. It will come to resolution at exactly 11:11 am GMT.

The Tzolkin is a 260-day calendar based around the period of human gestation. It is composed of 20 day-signs, each of which has 13 variations, and was (and still is) used to determine character traits and time harmonics, in a similar way to Western astrology. The Maya also used a 365-day calendar called the Haab, and a Venus calendar, plus others. They measured long time periods by means of a Long Count, in which one 360-day year (a \"Tun\"), consists of 18 x 20-day \"months\" (\"Uinals\"). Twenty of these Tuns is a Katun; 20 Katuns is a Baktun (nearly 400 years); and 13 Baktuns adds up to a \"Great Cycle\" of 1,872,000 days, ( 5200 Tuns, or about 5125 years).

Mayan scholars have been attempting to correlate the Long Count with our Western Gregorian calendar, since the beginning of this century. There has been massive variation in the suggested correlations, but as early as 1905, Goodman suggested a correlation only 3 days from the most popular one today. Known as the GMT correlation, or \"correlation # 584283\", this was finalized in 1950, and puts the start of the Great Cycle ( day 0.0.0.0.0) on 11th August 3114 BC, and the end-date (known as 13.0.0.0.0.) as 21st December 2012.

Jose Arguelles has pointed out that the Tzolkin is a harmonic of the Great Cycle, and can be used to map history, as if it is measuring not individual gestation but species gestation, since 5 Great Cycles add to exactly 26,000 Tuns; the \"Grand Year\" or precession of the equinoxes - a higher harmonic of 260.

NOTE: The astronomer Philip Plait has stated very clearly that the Mayan calendar does not end in 2012 at all, that it is like the odometer on your car, as each section of the odometer reaches 9 and then clicks over to 0, the next number to it starts a new cycle, so that when all the numbers again reach 0 all the way across the odometer - the last number will change from 1 to 2 and the new cycle starts all over again.

Sunspot Cycles; Adrian Gilbert and Maurice Cotterell, in their book the Mayan Prophecies, say that the end of the Great Cycle is the culmination of a series of long-term sunspot cycles which will flip the sun’s magnetic field, causing earthquakes and flooding on earth. Moreover, the changing magnetic field will alter the endocrine production of the pineal gland. According to John Major Jenkins, it will take 36 years to precess through the Galactic equator. The Galactic Alignment \"zone\" is
1998 +/- 18 years = 1980 to 2016. This is \"era 2012\"

Generally speaking, scientifically accepted records of sunspot activity do seem to be heading for a climax in the near future.

August 15, 2006: On July 31st, a tiny sunspot was born. It popped up from the sun's interior, floated around a bit, and vanished again in a few hours. On the sun this sort of thing happens all the time and, ordinarily, it wouldn't be worth mentioning. But this sunspot was special: It was backward.

\"We've been waiting for this,\" says David Hathaway, a solar physicist at the Marshall Space Flight in Huntsville, Alabama. \"A backward sunspot is a sign that the next solar cycle is beginning.\"

\"Backward\" means magnetically backward. Hathaway explains:

Sunspots are planet-sized magnets created by the sun's inner magnetic dynamo. Like all magnets in the Universe, sunspots have north (N) and south (S) magnetic poles. The sunspot of July 31st popped up at solar longitude 65o W, latitude 13o S. Sunspots in that area are normally oriented N-S. The newcomer, however, was S-N, opposite the norm.

This tiny spot of backwardness matters because of what it might foretell: A really big solar cycle.

Solar activity rises and falls in 11-year cycles, swinging back and forth between times of quiet and storminess. Right now the sun is quiet. \"We're near the end of Solar Cycle 23, which peaked way back in 2001,\" explains Hathaway. The next cycle, Solar Cycle 24, should begin \"any time now,\" returning the sun to a stormy state.

Satellite operators and NASA mission planners are bracing for this next solar cycle because it is expected to be exceptionally stormy, perhaps the stormiest in decades. Sunspots and solar flares will return in abundance, producing bright auroras on Earth and dangerous proton storms in space: full story.

Solar Cycles: Past and FutureBut when will Solar Cycle 24 begin?

\"Maybe it already did--on July 31st,\" says Hathaway. The first spot of a new solar cycle is always backwards. Solar physicists have long known that sunspot magnetic fields reverse polarity from cycle to cycle. N-S becomes S-N and vice versa. \"The backward sunspot may be the first sunspot of Cycle 24.\"

It sounds exciting, but Hathaway is cautious on several fronts:

First, the sunspot lasted only three hours. Typically, sunspots last days, weeks or even months. Three hours is fleeting in the extreme. \"It came and went so fast, it was not given an official sunspot number,\" says Hathaway. The astronomers who number sunspots didn't think it worthy!

Second, the latitude of the spot is suspicious. New-cycle sunspots almost always pop up at mid-latitudes, around 30o N or 30o S. The backward sunspot popped up at 13o S. \"That's strange.\"

These odd-isms stop Hathaway short of declaring the onset of a new solar cycle. \"But it looks promising,\" he says.

Even if Cycle 24 has truly begun, \"don't expect any great storms right away.\" Solar cycles last 11 years and take time to build up to fever pitch. For a while, perhaps one or two years, Cycle 23 and Cycle 24 will actually share the sun, making it a hodgepodge of backward and forward spots. Eventually, Cycle 24 will take over completely; then the fireworks will really begin.

Meanwhile, Hathaway plans to keep an eye out for more backward sunspots.
