In the second ring of power dona soledad and la gorda talk about how don juan turned their head a certain different direction in order to change the way their direction. Im curios if anybody has had this kind of experience where they felt like they changed their direction. If so if you would like to share that would be great too. For me i felt like i had this experience the other day after really thinking about everything. And then all the sudden i felt like i had to turn my head a certain direction. Whle posistioned like this i felt the best thing to do was try to turn off my internal dilouge.I tried very hard and then when i did i felt a weird sensation. like i could not move. And it was veryimprtant that i stay in that posistion untill i relized somthing. Finally i relized that i must change my ways and start on a new path. The path of becoming an impecable warrior. After i relized this i simply turned my had back to normal and went to sleep. I think that it was important for me becuase i am now persuing the path of a warrior instead of a man. However how i will do this is still a mystery to me.

a warrior may have many paths... but a warrior of freedom has but one path... the path with a heart.. learn what this means and you will understand everything else with more clarity..

Years? I hardly pay attention to days or months.. let alone years..
Time is just a thought.

Shouldnt a warrior notice everything. even the time that passes?

Sure, but I think that rigidly counting the days, months, years, and so on... and especially talking about it to oneself and others... only makes us rigid, and fixed. Part of becoming a warrior is learning to be fluid. And also, I'd say there is a certain element of changing the way in which we view and experience time in general.

Reading that Ken Eagle Feather book got me thinking about my direction. Figuring my direction at this stage is probably mostly speculation, but you never know. Reading the attributes of the four directions is kinda like looking at the zodiac; you see charactaristics from all of them in you, and you can with time assimilate any of them, but one is just you. Does that make since? Anyway, I think my direction is the East. At first the description of North sounded like me, I'm allways reading and consider myself intelligent. But I have trouble employing my knowledge and skip around to too many subjects. I think I'm an easterly because one of my biggest faults is I lack direction, I need someone to tell me what to do. I thrive on solitude (positive?) am easy going (i think) and I love to be out at the front, at the cutting edge. Time will only tell, but it's fun to speculate.
